Would you like to use your language skills to help tackle loneliness and isolation in east London?
We are working in partnership with The Reader to run a pilot series of online social clubs, based on shared multilingual reading, and we are looking for volunteers to assist in the running of these sessions. If you speak English as well as Bengali, Somali, Turkish or Polish, and would like to help us create a welcoming space for older and younger neighbours to build friendships and share literature, poems and more, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note that this is a voluntary role. All volunteers are asked to attend an online induction, which lasts approximately two hours, before taking part in our programmes.
