Donating to East London Cares helps keep our programmes free and accessible, so we can continue to connect older and younger neighbours through time, friendship, and laughter. There are so many ways to donate to East London Cares, from social media to online shopping.
Donating to East London Cares through Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn) involves donating straight from your payslip. Money donated through Payroll Giving is taken out of your pay after National Insurance but before Income Tax - so it reduces the amount of income tax you pay. For most people, for every 80p you donate, East London Cares will receive a pound.
To donate through payroll giving, your employer has to be working with a facilitator - like Charities Aid Foundation, Giveall2charity, or Charities Trust. Contact your Payroll team to find out if Payroll Giving exists in your workplace, or if it can be put in place.

You can quickly, easily, and securely donate to East London Cares through Instagram and Facebook. Even better, when you donate through Instagram or Facebook, East London Cares will receive 100% of the donations!
Facebook Fundraising
You can set up a fundraiser for East London Cares as part of your birthday celebrations! It’s quick and easy to do, and Facebook will even send you a reminder a few weeks before your birthday. This is a great way for your family or friends to support East London Cares in celebration of you.
Donating through Instagram
You can donate directly to us or even create a fundraiser just by going to our Instagram page. Click the ‘Support’ button on our profile and choose to either donate or set up a fundraiser, which you can post on your Story to encourage your friends and followers to donate to East London Cares.
Easyfundraising is a platform which allows you to donate to East London Cares while you shop online, with no extra cost to you.
All you have to do is create an account on their website, select East London Cares as your chosen charity, and visit your chosen store from the easyfundraising website. A percentage of your purchase will be donated to East London Cares without you spending any extra money. They also have a browser extension which can remind you to use easyfundraising, if you forget.
